This early-ripening variety (a riesling hybrid) was developed in 1882 by Dr Hermann Müller (born in the Swiss canton of Thurgau) whilst he was working at a viticultural station in Germany. Our Müller-Thurgau is grown on gentle, SE facing sites which produce tropical characteristics in our fruit. In the cellar we fill the broad palate structure through extended lees contact. This dry white wine is a fine example of Mosel Müller-Thurgau.
